U14G 01/02 SOL Black at the 2016 Disney President’s Day Soccer Festival

The Clay County U14G 01/02 SOL Black participated in the 2016 Disney President’s Day Soccer Festival (February 13-15th). The girls had a fantastic weekend, going undefeated and keeping the opposition scoreless in their first 3 games of group play. In the semifinals, the girls defeated Tonka United (MN) 3-2 in a dramatic penalty kick shootout, highlighted by 3 super-saves from Sol goalkeeper Ashlyn Barton to propel the Sol into the Finals that afternoon.
