His best game for us by far was against Southampton, where he filled in as a defensive, limited, left back who's job was purely to tackle/block/win aerial duals and make simple passes

I don't really understand why we got him, let alone why we supposedly chased him for so long. He cared so I'm happy he's doing alright. But I still have nightmares about that Sheffield Wednesday game
