The Fire had quite the performance last week against the (formerly) best team in MLS Nashville. A VEEEERY early Phillip Zinckernagel goal :17 into the match (fastest in Fire and 10th fastest in league history), and then the Fire held on for the next 89 minutes, plus stoppage time, for the big time win. It was not pretty, but sometimes you do just enough to win.
Sadly, we have not seen enough of that over the past low these many years.

Well, now we get face one of the vilest, ugliest teams...
