Cruz Azul top Concacaf club ranking, Toluca and Sounders chase
April 9 – Going into the quarter final round Concacaf Champions Cup holders Cruz Azul had reclaimed the top spot in the latest Concacaf Club Rankings (CCR).
A first leg quarter final loss to LAFC may shake the top of the ranking up again, especially with second placed Toluca beating Seattle in their first leg quarter final tie. Next week’s second round ties will decide bragging rights.
Seven of the eight top ranked clubs are competing in the quarter finals.
