lowercaserI believe eugenics is only unpopular or frowned upon because it was so strongly associated with the Nazi regime. If that hadn't happened I don't believe most people would have an issue with eugenics.
Why would people have an issue with genetically engineering humans so they had a healthier life with less/ no illness?
A healthier life is the "nice" face of eugenics, but the use of it depends on the morals of those in charge of it. Don't ever think that what the Nazis wanted couldn't happen again.
