I think in fairness a lot of the frustration previously was we’d do all the shuffling the ball around bit, the forward would make the run…and the full back would go back to the CB or the GK and we’d start again.
There’s definitely been a focus on being more direct when we get a chance to play the killer ball in the last month or so. Compare Bristol away for example (the epitome of sideways and backwards) with Norwich or Oxford. Even Swansea, to be honest.
