That period was the least interested in Everton that I've ever been. So much so that the appointment of Benitez failed to even bother me.
The strange thing about it was that the appointment seemed to be rumoured for weeks, giving Moshiri plenty of time to guage the mood of the fans, yet he still went ahead with it.
