So it is possible to make a player chain of people James Milner played with or against all the way back to Stanley Matthews.

So as an example.

Milner
Played against Gianfranco Zola
Who played with Maradona
Who played with Bernd Schuster:
Who played with Karl-Heinz Rummenigge

And so on and so on.

So can you work it out or indeed do it shorter?

It can be done in 10 players atleast.
