Think now it's widely accepted that he carried Rooney at Derby - there's a reason he's got the Chelsea job and 'Are Wayne' is now just doing shit podcast shows.
Still a huge step up for him - then again, if Chelsea are daft enough to offer him 6 years, he'd be daft not to accept it.
Will be interesting to watch - normally I'd agree about too big for a young coach - but Chelsea are a very young side, so maybe this works.
