Committing so wholeheartedly to an idea that isn't working at times is creating a lack of confidence that is opening space for opponents rather than us having the comfort blanket to be more aggressive in our defending.

We don't have to "sit in and counter", just be smarter about how we press as a group & force the game to be played in front us rather than constantly having to sprint backwards & react.
