Thinking of a week there in September. Is this a good idea and any recommendations?

For 1, a couple, or a family ?

Me, the missis and my two who are 19/20.

Don't expect anything exciting - but if you want a fairly chilled week then it's good. There's probably not enough to make you want to go back for a second week anytime soon, but that's solely because you will see almost everything in a week.

Googling "things to do on the Isle of Wight" will just about cover everything. Good place to relax though.
