It's not the Birmingham accents that bother me (barring the awful accuracy), it's the pattern of dialogue consistent throughout his main characters.
Even Paddy in SAS spoke with the same annoying pattern as all of Knights leading roles. Albeit in a pretty bad Belfast accent.
