My lad (who played a bit of Warwickshire Prem) used to have our club bowling machine on at 85mph. He could keep it out pretty consistently but only cos he knew where it was going. Scoring shots - not so much.
So a decent club cricketer just about coping with predictable 85mph deliveries suggests a non-cricketer facing 90mph has no chance.
