A year ago at this point in the season the Rapids were ascending. Djordje Mihailovic had finally integrated into the team and they were scoring goals. Now the attack has wilted and defending has become an issue. It’s a prescription for a continued downward trend in the standings. The last two losses have been at home which just makes things that much more frustrating. This has put them in 9th in the West, the last Wild Card spot.
