North London Derby ventures East to headline Hong Kong Football Festival
April 1 – Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur will take their fierce north London rivalry overseas for the first time when they face-off in a pre-season friendly in Hong Kong this summer. The clash will be played at the newly opened Kai Tak Stadium on 31 July, marking the first North London Derby to be hosted outside of the UK.
The match will headline the Hong Kong Football Festival, which is looking to bring elite European football to the region.
