I agree that the bench looks pretty good. How long since we have been able to say that??
It’s very much a squad game now, and we have
one.
The only downside (- actually, upside of the previous thin squad situation) is that there will be far fewer opportunities for the youngsters to come through into the first team. But we have over-relied on them in the past, a bit, through necessity.
