number8I don't think you can remove it from the professional game but in younger age groups I think it's a good idea. Also makes technique even more important.

Lots of Sunday morning teams also don’t use regulation balls. I’ve seen kids football being played with cheap, heavy Sondico balls from Sports Direct and a kid actually needing hospital treatment after heading one that was hoofed down the pitch (sounds like a Didn’t Happen of the Year contender, I guarantee you, it did). It’s not right at all, especially at a younger age.
