Carswell played an important role in UAlbany's last trip to Delaware, a 21-17 win over the Blue Hens on Nov. 9, 2019. He helped force a crucial fumble by Delaware receiver Thyrick Pitts at the goal line that the Great Danes recovered in the third quarter.
The play helped spark a three-game winning streak that launched the Great Danes into the Football Championship Subdivision playoffs.
