Football is clearly full of superstitions, Vialli being left behind by the Italian team bus, but then being 'collected' further down the road.

Only this morning I was in the supermarket and was about to buy a pizza before its connections with Italy made me reconsider and not purchase.
Another one being if the game is not going well then raising or lowering the volume level by one, or seeing an individual and random black cat on the day of a game or event being a lucky sign.
