Ages ago I subscribed to Quora and occasionally get emails from them with click bait questions like, who would win in a fight Yoda v Darth Vader, if I saved a snake from drowning, would it know that I’d saved him, I’m 15, can I become a Navy Seal etc?
One caught my eye though, Why isn’t Messi respected as much in Argentina as Ronaldo is in Portugal?
The answers boiled down to Italian and Spanish immigration heritage and rich v poor in Argentina and hence why Messi isn’t as loved as Maradona is. Plus the bar Eusebio and Figo Portugal haven’t had any decent players answer
