This was yers ago but... taxi driver reversed into my young sons bile - he jumped off in tine. Refused pay for a new bike or repairs, Said if I persisted he would sue me for damage to his bumper.

My wife was baby sitting a child of a solicitor. Because he was so horrible pursued it and a letter from the solicitor was enough for him to pay up
