KUALA LUMPUR: The Speedy Tigers were hammered 6-0 by Australia's national team in a friendly at the Perth Hockey Stadium on Thursday.

Perth, 25 April 2025: After a month-long senior national training camp, the Indian Women’s Hockey Team is set for a challenging five-match tour of Australia from 26 April to 4 May. The tour begins with two matches against Australia A on 26 and 27 April, followed by three matches against the World No. 5 Australian Senior Women’s Team on 1, 3 and 4 May at the Perth Hockey Stadium.



Pakistan's participation in Men's Hockey Asia Cup 2025 in India in limbo after Pahalgam terror attack

The Pakistan hockey team is scheduled to visit India for the Men’s Hockey Asia Cup 2025 in August-September, but the chances of that happening now appear bleak.

Pakistan’s participation in the upcoming Men’s Hockey Asia Cup 2025 in India has become uncertain after the Pahalgam terror attack, as the Indian government decided to revoke visas given to Pakistani nationals on Thursday. Besides revoking the visas, the Indian government also ordered the Pakistani nationals to leave the country by 27 April.

The men’s hockey Asia Cup, a 2026 FIH World Cup qualifier, is under cloud as Pakistan’s participation in the tournament, to be held in Bihar, is uncertain following the Pahalgam terror attacks. Earlier this month, Hockey India had confirmed that Pakistan would travel across the border for the continental championship along with South Korea, Malaysia, China and Japan.
