Rajender Kalra, 89, breathed his last at his Chandigarh home on Monday

“A fantastic doctor and above all a fantastic human being. He cared for the team like his own family,” those are the first words by 1975 Hockey World Cup winning Indian hockey team captain Ajitpal Singh when asked about Dr Rajender Kalra, the team doctor in the 1975 Hockey World Cup in Malaysia.
