M.Nos 11 & 12: Contrasting victories mark HIL’s Sunday Feat
s2h team
Two matches played in contrasting style marked the Sunday feat in Rourkela. While Soorma and Kalinga played a vintage Asian style, the second match of the day between Dragons and Rudras stood out for tight, flawless, methodical European style. Expectedly, this match produced all the goals in the last quarters while Soorma was able to score a goal in each quarter. Goals reined in the first match, seven to be specific, whereas a mere brace in the second. Style of game obviously seemed to have dictated number of goals on the scoreboard.

If there is a better match in the men’s Hockey India League this season, the tournament would be a blockbuster, because Soorma Hockey Club’s 4-3 win against home side Vedanta Kalinga Lancers would be hard to beat.
