AEHC Executive Update

As we end this challenging year, we wanted to give you a hockey section update but firstly many thanks to all of you that sold and bought raffle tickets, the draw was made last night and the winners will be contacted in the next few days.   Many thanks for all the volunteers and the section members that have adapted so well to support the club and keep us in the most part training and playing hockey September through to December, we are also planning to support the planned extended season with training and playing so again thank you for your commitment to that .    We have had to adapt in many ways, not least in the budget and financing of the section, so many thanks to all of you who are up to date with your match, training and (the one off) Covid fee, however unfortunately a number of members are not up to date, we acknowledge and apologise that training fees requests came out  a bit later this year, however we currently see arrears across the club of circa £10,000 plus which puts us in a challenging position.   For those of you that have outstanding amounts you will shortly receive an individual statement showing how much you owe, can we respectfully request you pay this as soon as possible.   If you don’t think this amount is correct, please can you flag this to your captain / manager / section head / or any of the executive and we can look to resolve.   Some of you may have had a problem paying the outstanding amount, again if this is the case please highlight this and we can send the details on how to reset your Go Cardless payments or instruct on how to set up the DD payment approach.   We are now half way through the season and heading to the year end and so would like to ensure that these outstanding amounts are resolved before the 2nd half of the season commences, with training planned to start w/c 4th Jan     Wishing you and all your families a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.   AEHC Executive
