Dogs at AECC

Dogs at Alderley Edge Cricket Club In the light of the COVID 19 pandemic your committee has been obliged to review and remind members of the the club’s policy regarding dogs. Please be aware that the main Club Grounds including The Edge Hockey Centre are predominately sports surfaces and the following rules apply. 1) Dogs must be kept on a short lead and under control at all times. 2) To avoid the risk of contaminating the playing surfaces dogs should be restricted to the grounds perimeter ie. outside the cricket boundary. 3) Dogs are strictly forbidden access to all Tennis Courts and the Hockey pitch. 4) Dogs are not allowed inside the Clubhouse under any circumstances. Please understand that our staff, and your fellow members, are aware of these rules and that having to remind others only causes embarrassment. In the interest of fellow dog owners please comply....failure to do so will result in dogs being banned from the Grounds; an action that would be the responsibility of the selfish minority not being prepared to comply.
