Wilmslow U11s Triumph
Today the U11’s played in a 7 a side tournament at Timperley. They played 3 pool games
- Winning 3-0 against Timperley B
- Winning 5-0 against Macclesfield
- Drew 2-2 against Timperley A
Through to the semi-finals, they played Timperley C and won 2-0. They then met Timperley A again in the finals and produced an outstanding performance to record a comprehensive 4-0 victory.
Coach Louise Broome said
"A great afternoon of hockey from the kids aged 6-11. All inclusive and to watch them grow in stature from the first game to the last was absolutely marvellous. We celebrated with a roll which hopefully will become a signature move for winning Wilmslow sides.The future is bright - the future is Wilmslow !".
