JUMP START's Argentine sensation!

LIVINGSTONE, an Argentina-bred 3-year-old son of JUMP START, has become one of the best milers in South America after taking the Gr. 1 Gran Premio Estrellas Mile, the Argentine version of the Breeders’ Cup, while facing older runners on Saturday, June 28 at Hipodromo Argentino de Palermo. The striking blaze-faced dark bay defeated a field of 10 while stopping the clock in a dazzling 1:33.41 on the main track. Rated patiently off swift fractions of :21.86, :44.02 and 1:07.89, he swept past the pacesetter in midstretch, drew off quickly and held the lead safe to win by a length. 

LIVINGSTONE's Group 1 win comes hot on the heels of his obliteration of the field in the Gr. 2 25 De Mayo De 1810 in May, which he won by 21 lengths! LIVINGSTONE now has five wins from 13 starts. JUMP START is the sire of 11 graded stakes winners, and is the leading active sire in the Mid-Atlantic region this year by number of stakes winners, with seven.
