Coldwater Creek Camping Trip – January 16-19, 2026

Twelve brave folks ventured over to Munson, FL for a great weekend of camping. Paulie, Melissa, Regine, David, Lyn and Matt got a head start Thursday and warmed up the trails for us. Donna, Nancy, Brandi, Lisa, Ginger and myself rolled in Friday to join them. Saturday started a little grey and rainy, but turned into a great day of riding. We even picked up a few extras to join us! We all chose to ride at our own paces and length, but collectively we put in over 20 miles of riding Saturday. A few folks even found themselves a trail to the creek! Then we grilled steaks and shared a potluck dinner under the pavilion. Sunday we woke up to a surprising dusting of snow! It was the perfect balance of “awe, how pretty” and “good, it’s melted.” Donna, Nancy, Regine, Brandi, Lisa and myself took a leisurely approach to riding mid-day, and still put in 7+ miles. We called it a night with a taco dinner and s’mores by the fire. Though quite chilly, a fabulous time was had by all. Looking forward to the next one!
