$220,000 Zousain Colt Shares Top Honours Inglis Premier Book 2
Zousain yearlings were in demand at the Inglis Premier Yearling Sale this week with a filly from Final Response selling for $260,000 and a colt from Burum selling for $210,000 and then on Tuesday he had the equal sale-topper in Book 2.
Consigned by Blue Gum Farm, the colt from Group III winner Cavalry Rose was bought for $220,000 by Taiwanese based buyer Elysian.
He is a half-brother to three winners from the family of Group I winners Brutal and Provence.
“What a wonderful result. He’s a really nice type of horse and obviously the mare has done the job so it was great to get the job done for the owners,” said Blue Gum Farm’s Sean Dingwall.
Zousain has strong representation at the next yearling sale on the calendar with 15 entries for Magic Millions Gold Coast March.
