We are proud to share that Íshestar was voted runner up in the Outdoor Activities category in Best of Reykjavík 2026 by The Reykjavík Grapevine.
To be recognised in this way is a great honour for our team. We are proud to stand next to Elding Whale Watching, who received first place, and especially proud to be the only horseback riding company included in the ranking.
For decades, our focus has been on offering quality riding experiences in Icelandic nature, built on respect for the Icelandic horse and the environment we ride in. This recognition confirms what we have always believed, that the experience of riding the Icelandic horse in its home landscape is something truly special.
