TDRC November 2025 News

This is the month of nuts and nutty thoughts. Autumn is marching on; even the scarecrows are wearing dead leaves.

Camp update:

The TDRC & QRC camp was a great success! It was informative and fun, indulging in our horses, making new friends, enjoying the company of old ones whilst being well fed and entertained and just generally “horsing” around! The flatwork and poles training was driven by Colleen who was always encouraging and gently pushing riders out of their comfort zone enabling the rider to unlock their own potential.

The SJ was driven by Jane Reed. She also was very encouraging guiding the riders from simple poles to jumping a complete course.

I think all riders came away with a big smile on their face knowing they had achieved more than they believed they could.

A big thank you to Emma-Jane, Lindsey, Colleen and Jane for organizing everything.

Dressage update

The dressage competition at Heazles was very well attended and ran smoothly. Thank you to everyone who competed and helped. The standard of riding was good and it was lovely watching some of the horses float around the indoor arena. Thank you Gary Shimmin for being our judge.
