Doubtland 2YO Goes Two for Two in WA

0 4

Talented Doubtland colt All on Red made it two wins in as many starts when scoring a dominant win at Ascot in Perth on Saturday.

Trained by Tiarnna Noske and ridden by Luke Campbell, All on Red was a short priced favourite and raced away for an easy two and a half length win and has now won $131,680 from his first two starts.

Luke Campbell was talking up All On Red before the colt even appeared at the races.

“He has improved a little bit off his first up run maturity wise, he got out so quick today and just put himself there, and when he got there, he relaxed so well,” said the jockey on returning to scale.

“I had Chris (Parnham, on Texan Dream) outside of me but he left me alone.

“I was mindful that he was giving 4kg away today to some of those horses, and we’ve got a bit of a headwind today – so he’s done a good job.

“I’ve had an opinion of him from the get go.”

A $62,500 Magic Millions Perth purchase for his trainer from the draft of Scenic Lodge, All on Red is certainly bred to be up and running at two.

He is the first foal of Poker Face, a winning half-sister to Group III winner and Magic Millions 2YO Classic winner Karuta Queen from Group III winner Card Queen, who won a Blue Diamond Prelude.

Doubtland stands at Widden Victoria at a fee of $13,200.
