Horseback Riding during Easter in Iceland

Planning a trip to Iceland during the Easter holidays? Join us for an Easter Horseback riding Tour.

For beginners, our most popular tours include the Lava Tour and Horses and Waffles, both offering a scenic and enjoyable ride through Icelandic nature.

Our tours will be operated all days during the Easter as same as normal and we do offer 1-5 hour tours for all riding levels. If you are a beginner we recommend either our Horses and Waffles  riding tour or our Lava tour. The Horses and Waffles tour is a 1-hour tour for beginners and you will enjoy a relaxed ride at a slow and comfortable pace, allowing your horse to walk through stunning Icelandic nature. This peaceful ride lets you fully take in the Icelandic nature before indulging in delicious homemade waffles at the end of the tour.

Our Lava tour is for both beginners to experienced riders because the group will be split up into two groups according to riding skills. This riding tour is 1 1/2 hours long and if you prefer a faster pace beyond walking, we recommend joining the experienced group when the riders are split.

For those who want a longer or faster ride

For experienced riders looking for a longer adventure, we highly recommend our Viking Tour. This tour lasts more than two hours and offers a faster pace with more challenging trails compared to our other rides. You will experience every gait of the Icelandic horse, including the unique tölt, and truly discover the power that makes the Icelandic Horse so special.

If riding along a dramatic black sand beach is on your bucket list, the Black Beach Ride is the tour for you! Riding together along the endless black sand, with the waves crashing nearby and the vast sky above, feels almost surreal. It’s a moment of pure adventure and connection with nature.

Private & Exclusive Tours

If you are looking for something a little more personal, we have some great private and exclusive riding options. Whether you want a one-on-one experience or a fun family outing, we can tailor the ride to your pace and preferences.

Exclusive Horse Ride – A private tour where you can ride at your own speed, take in the scenery, and really connect with your horse. Perfect for individuals or groups who want something a little more customized.
