Updated figures of passport applications processed on Horse Source – February 7th, 2025

Horse Sport Ireland (HSI) has issued an update on the number of passport applications processed during the week ending February 7th, through Horse Source. The number completed foal passports issued is now 4693. There has been a total of 6751 foal passport applications received through Horse Source, of which 6280 are pedigree applications. To date, 5427 foal kits have been returned from breeders to HSI for pedigree applications, with the number of pedigree foal passports issued to breeders now 4330, equating to 80% of pedigree applications having passports issued, where DNA has been provided by customers. The total number of non-pedigree applications completed is now 363. 13% of DNA Kits have not been returned to HSI from breeders.
