Equine Viral Arteritis (EVA) update for the 2025 breeding season
The Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM) has issued and update on Equine Viral Arteritis (EVA) ahead of the upcoming breeding season. EVA is a notifiable disease in Ireland, meaning any suspect case should be immediately isolated indoors and notified without delay to the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine. In the document below, DAFM have published advice for breeders to action during and after the breeding season, and also provided information of vaccine availability.
