Fudge visits to care homes

0 6
Fudge, the miniature Shetland pony, brings joy and comfort to residents of local care homes through regular visits. Standing at just 28 inches tall, Fudge’s gentle nature and charming demeanor make him a favorite among the elderly.

Often accompanied by other horses, he visits local care homes to improve the mental and emotional well-being of care home residents. These visits provide a unique and heartwarming experience, fostering connections and spreading smiles through the simple yet profound presence of these beloved animals.
We are having an Abbeyfield tea party on Friday to celebrate everyone who works and volunteers at Lee House and I was wondering if there was a chance of inviting our favourite volunteer Mr. Fudge? Our residents would like to thank him for always coming over and brightening their day, we would like to invite him to our summer tea party so we can show our appreciation.
What an amazing afternoon at Wimbledon Beaumont Care CommunityDespite of the rainy day the visit from two beautiful and friendly horses from The Wimbledon Village Stables went ahead.  The outcome does not need any comments, I will let you judge if it was a good idea or not.
Thank you to all brilliant the people who made this possible.
