Eighth Winner for Zousain

0 4

Zousain has posted his second new winner this week at Cranbourne on Friday evening when the Phillip Stokes trained filly The Dabble Effect scored on debut.

Ridden by Daniel Stackhouse, she kept up a good gallop to the line to win the 1200m juvenile maiden by half a length.

A modest $50,000 Inglis Premier purchase from Widden Stud for Phillip Stokes Racing / Rick Connolly Bloodstock, The Dabble Effect is the second winner from well related Street Sense (USA) mare Prismatic, an unraced half-sister to Group I winner Paulele and Group winners Tessera and Montsegur, the dam of Group winners Corniche and Heresy.

The Dabble Effect is the eighth winner – one in NZ- for Zousain, who has had a slight increase in fee this year and will stand at Widden at a fee of  $27,500, up from $22,000 last year.
