The QIPCO Prix du Jockey Club betting

0 5

Persian King is expected to be a warm order for the QIPCO Prix du Jockey Club and the colt is expected to start at odds of around 2-1 for the Chantilly classic on Sunday. Slalom, his main market rival and hailing from the same stable of André Fabre, could return odds of less than 10-1. Others grouped in the latter price bracket are the unbeaten in three starts Motamarris, André Fabre’s third pretender Roman Candle, and Sottsass. The latter represents the winning connections of 2017, and namely trainer Jean-Claude Rouget and jockey Cristian Demuro.

The British rate Surfman and Raise You as their best prospects and the two colts are expected to return odds varying from 7-1 to 12-1.

So see you at Chantilly on Sunday, June 2nd. The off-time for the classic is 16.25 local time.
