Memorial Service for Veronica Spackman (1929 - 2018)

Veronica Spackman's memorial sevice will be held at Peper Harow Church Godalming, GU8 6BQ on the 19th September at 3pm, 

It would be amazing if as many people could come as possible to say a fond farewell to an eventing world legend.

There will be a small, private ceremony in the morning for the family where Veronica's ashes will be buried with Michael's.

We are sad to announce that Veronica Spackman passed away peacefully at home on 28 August 2018. 

Veronica was the organiser of Tweseldown, Stilemans and Iping Horse Trials over an organising career of some 40 years.  With husband Micheal they were the engine of much of the eventing that took place in Surrey and Sussex during that time.   She retired from organising in 2014 at Iping whilst Stilemans last ran in 2009.   

She also mentored Rupert and Rebecca Harvie in setting up and running Munstead ODE and earlier this year she was there to present the Michael Spackman Memorial Trophy, in memory of her husband who passed away in 2017.
