Irish Show Jumping team named for Friday’s Spanish Nations Cup

Irish Development team manager Michael Blake has named his team for tomorrow’s (Friday) five-star Nations Cup at Gijon in Spain. Ireland have been drawn eighth to jump of 10 teams taking part and will line out as follows: Tipperary’s Trevor Breen with Bombay – owned by Willy Matton Waterford’s Anthony Condon with SFS Aristio – owned by Anthony Condon & John Hales Galway’s Michael Duffy with ESF Top Contender – owned by Graham Dalton & Ben Dalton Sligo’s Richard Howley with Dolores – owned by Morgan Kent Ireland will face teams from France, Britain, Portugal, Netherlands, Sweden, Italy, Germany, Belgium and the home team from Spain, in a competition that gets underway at 12.30pm Irish time.
