The Greatest Dancer’s finalists have found fame on Simon Cowell’s shows or toured with Strictly stars
THIS weekend four acts will battle it out on the dance floor to be crowned the winner of The Greatest Dancer.
But if either Harrison, ballroom dancers Michael & Jowita or child performers Lily & Joseph win it won’t be the first time they have had a taste of fame.
All of the finalists, aside from Dancepoint, have previously appeared on TV and either worked with Simon Cowell, won a talent show or toured with Strictly stars in the past.
Simon Cowell’s company Syco is of course behind The Greatest Dancer.
Solo dancer Harrison Vaughn, who is Matthew Morrison’s pick, is in fact already a BBC show winner, having won CBBC’s Taking The Next Step in 2017.
The talented youngster has also appeared on the West End in Matilda, starred in Peaky Blinders and even auditioned for Simon Cowell’s BGT in 2017 as a singer.
Meanwhile Oti’s duo Michael and Jowita have also had a taste of fame – having competed on both Poland’s Got Talent and So You Think You Can Dance.
The Greatest Dancer prize is to appear on Strictly Come Dancing but these two already have links with Strictly having starred in a show with pros Neil and Katya Jones.
Last weekend they got through to the finals performing a Dirty Dancing routine that they have well and truly perfected over the years.
They previously performed the same dance in 2014 on a show called Jaka To Melodia.

They will compete against Cheryl’s pick Lily and Joseph – who also aren’t unfamiliar with talent show as Lily auditioned for BGT in 2018 as part of Cartoon Heroes.
She managed to get back to the second round with the dance troop but didn’t reach the semi-finals.
The Greatest Dancer final airs on Saturday at 6.30pm on BBC One.
