First look inside Strictly’s Tower Ballroom as Michelle Visage and Saffron Barker rehearse in Blackpool
THE Strictly Come Dancing professionals and celebrities have given fans a glimpse at the Tower Ballroom ahead of the Blackpool show this weekend.
Week nine is special for the competitors of the BBC dancing show as they get to take to the iconic stage.
Their excitement has been clear to everyone as the stars shared a glimpse into their preparations for tomorrow night’s Strictly.
YouTube star Saffron Baker – who is partnered with AJ Pritchard – posted photos and videos of the group dance number rehearsals.
It shows a huge set, with a fake moon hanging above the stage and big lampposts scattered around.
The ballroom is illuminated with spotlights, showcasing the golden balconies and chandeliers.
Most of the cast travelled up to the northern city yesterday on a First Class train.
Michelle will be dancing a street and commercial routine to Madonna track, Vogue.
Saffron Barker and AJ Pritchard are hoping to impress with a Quickstep to Marvellous Party by Beverley Knight.
Alex Jones will be dancing for the second week in a row after missing two weeks because of an injury, doing the Paso Doble to Beyonce’s Rule The World, with partner Alex Jones.
Emma Barton and Anton Du Beke will be dancing to Ella Fitzgerald’s Lets Face The Music And Dance for their American Smooth.
Funnyman Chris Ramsay and Karen Hauer are hoping to dazzle with a salsa to Uptown Funk by Mark Ronson.
