Party on the Portland bridges!

Sue and I just decided to ride the Providence Bridge Pedal (https://www.providence.org/lp/bridge-pedal ) which is a fun annual ride across 9 Portland bridges, including both interstate bridges (I-5 and I-405) with Voodoo donuts and bands on top — closed to all cars!

We will ride the Fremont Express (23 miles, route: https://www.providence.org/lp/bridge-pedal/routes/fremont-express). It’s an early start to enjoy breakfast (well, donuts) and the sunrise on top of the I-405 Fremont bridge.

It’s a fun ride with lots of music throughout - also a lot of people!

Easy access to the start from any of the downtown hotels - we are staying at the Residence Inn Portland Downtown RiverPlace on the riverfront (3 easy miles to the start - 1 mile from the finish).

If anyone wants to join us, we will organize dinner on Saturday at one of our favorite downtown restaurants.
