Bike Insurance Option Now Available for OC Members

Ontario Cycling is happy to announce that members can now insure their bicycles for theft and damage through the Canadian Cycling Bicycle Program. This comprehensive program, offered through Gallagher, provides Cycling Canada members (including OC members) an EXCLUSIVE preferred discounted rate to cover your bicycle (or pedal-assist eBike). 

Whether you are using your bike for recreational riding/training or competition in events, for just $3.12 per $100 of value, ensure you have peace of mind knowing your bike is covered if something happens. 

Important Program Information: 

• Invoice for coverage is sent once annually 

• Annual rate of $3.12 per $100 of reported bike value (Recreational and Competitive Use) 

• Can provide up to $20,000 in coverage per bike 

• Ability to ensure more than one bike 

• Available to all Canadian provinces except Quebec 

• Coverage limited to use in Canada or USA (including its territories, possessions and Puerto Rico) 

• Certain accessories covered as well 

• Deductible 

• • $250 for bikes under $10,000 in value 

• • $500 for bike over $10,000 in value
