2025 Road, Gravel, and MTB Preliminary Race Calendars are now online!

Ontario Cycling (OC) is pleased to announce the 2025 preliminary calendar for the disciplines of Road, Gravel, and Mountain Bike. Please make sure to check the calendar for updates as more events will continue to be added as they are sanctioned throughout the season. We have races happening across the province from charity rides to our Ontario Cup race series with plenty of regional events in between, so there is something for everyone! Don’t miss out on the opportunity to challenge yourself at a local OC sanctioned event and at the same time, take some time to take in be sure to check out some of Ontario’s stunning landscapes and terrains this race season.

Our preliminary road calendar not only includes road races, but time trials, criteriums, charity rides, and gran fondos. For the 2025 OCup Road Series we are pleased to announce 5 OCups this season, with 2 OCups being run by Limestone City Cycling as part of the new Kingston Stage. Additionally, OC is pleased to announce that our partnership with Greg Rawson of Performance Driven Events is renewed for the 2025 season with 3 OCups and 3 Provincial Championships (Time Trial, Crit, and Road Race). Our OCup series will see us returning to some crowd favorite race venues such as Henderson, Dunnville, and Lansdowne with the addition of a new venue at Moonstone in 2025. The Provincial Championship will be a triple header with the Crit, Time Trial, and Road Race all on the same weekend.

OC is also pleased to announce confirmation of one Youth Road event at the Dunnville Racetrack. But we are working on a second event, so please keep your eye out on the calendar!

Other events returning to the calendar are Rideau Lakes, Clarence Rockland, Preston Street, and 7 Days – Pancreatic Cancer).

The highly anticipated Paris to Ancaster is returning for another year, so be sure to mark your calendars! Melrose Gravel Tour will also be returning to the Belleville area and Voyageur 200 will once again be running their event in picturesque North Bay. 

MTB OCups/Provincials will see the return of the crowd favorite Short Track (XCC) and Team Relay events. Whether you are a fan of watching or competing it appears 2025 will be another exciting year for MTB riders in the province with the return of some classic events. The 2025 OCup MTB series will once again have local clubs and organizers hosting the events, with 4 OCups confirmed in the series. Returning to the series will be Woodnewton, Hardwood Ski & Bike, and Hiawatha Highlands with the addition of Boler Mountain added to the MTB series. OC will be hosting Provincial Championships at Horseshoe Resort during the August long weekend and the event will include XCO, XCC, and Team Relay events.

Outside of our OCup series, MTB events returning to the calendar in 2025 include Hardwood events such as (Single Track Classic, Wednesday Night Race Series, Women’s 4 Hour Relay, Summer Epic 8 Hour, and Fall Epic 8 Hour). We will be continuing to add more events to our calendar, so be sure to keep checking! 

Our initial calendar release is just the beginning of what will be an exciting season, with more events being added throughout the year. With events popping up across the province, it’s hard to not get excited about the season ahead. Whether you are an experienced rider or just starting out, you’re sure to find a race that will get you excited about the season ahead. Come discover Ontario Cycling!
