Just 33 minutes on the train. A smooth hard-surface riverside path (but not the Thames), the sex, lies and Soviet spies of Cliveden House and the tarmac tracks through the ancient woodland of Burnham Beeches. Suitable for all bikes. Lunch at The Feathers, Burnham (19C Grade II pub frequented by Edward VII when Prince of Wales; but the food is cheap!). 32 km.
