A Ride of Celebration
Some of you may have known David Whitaker, a cyclist and musician who lived in Catonsville. He died unexpectedly on October 13th. I’m sure you heard David and his bluegrass band mates when they performed at our Civil War Century ride start festivities. He was an excellent musician, a master of the dobro (a resonator guitar), and he was also an avid bicyclist who was a member of the Potomac Pedalers and the bike advocacy group Bike Maryland. The ride below is planned in celebration of David’s life.
