I'm trying to restore a Trek 930 as my main commuter bike. I bought it from a yard sale for 50 bucks. Following are some things I need to get it to running condition, and I was hoping to get some suggestions.
1. The original head set (aheadset brand) seems to be in bad condition. What is a good replacement headset, and what size would fit this bike?
2. I was hoping to convert it into a sealed bottom bracket. Any suggestions on the parts I could use?
3. The original breaks and shifters are missing. Any suggestions for a set of thumb shifters I can use?
