Katy Trail Conditions?

Ive looked at the official website(s) but the comments vary from rode 150 miles, good conditions" to impassable. Probably due to the dates on the reviews and particular sections. Thought Id ask here before we head somewhere else. Has anybody ridden it recently? What area/section? Was hoping to ride length in September. Thanks.
